Not only the winners but all participants of the final round of the Talent days surprised us. There are no doubts about the continuation of this event. For next year we will organise Talent Days in November (2011), April (2012), May and June. So do you think you have BUSINESS and ENTREPRENEURIAL talent? Join the Talent Days of Nyenrode New Business School Amsterdam of 2011/2012.
Talent days
Trying to help students to decide what their next step will be after finishing VWO, HAVO or IB, the New Business School ,Amsterdam created the Talent Days. A 2-days programme where students will discover what business talents they have and if their motivations and ambitions fit the BBA New Business Bachelor Programme and the Master Business Degree Msc in Management.
Scholarships
In the end of the programme, students will receive their ‘entrepreneurial profile’; a report based on individual accomplishments as well as on group activities stating their strengths and weaknesses. Another positive aspect of the Talent days is that students with best overall performances during the two days, will have a chance to win a scholarship provided by Nyenrode Stichting Fonds. The scholarships combined will total €65,000. By organising Talent Days, New Business School also wants to stimulate and reinforce the spirit of responsible business – besides entrepreneurship and creativity one of its core values.

Nyenrode is the only private university in the Netherlands. In 1946, captains of industry from leading Dutch corporations as KLM, Shell, Unilever, Philips and Akzo, took the initiative to start an institute where an action-inclined, internationally focused generation of new business leaders would be educated. Nyenrode’s ambition is to deepen the knowledge of our internationally oriented, carefully selected students towards sustainable leaders, robust accountants and agile and creative entrepreneurs. For business, by business has been our motto from the day our institute was established. It still defines the university and assures that practical relevance is of main importance to our faculty.
New Business School, Amsterdam (part of Nyenrode Business Universiteit) opened in 2006, in cooperation with the University of Westminster, and offers an international Bachelor degree in New Business. Both academic development and professional development are central to the programme: it represents the third path in higher education in the Netherlands that allows students to develop themselves into creative and responsible business men and women. Projects in India, Ethiopia and China and a semester in London contribute to the student’s international ambitions.
